In most cases, we try to direct people towards engine rebuilds rather than replacements. They’re more cost-effective and are actually better in most cases. We use OEM parts and diagnose the actual source of the problem so that you don’t replace your entire engine with a new (often subpar model) and find that you’re still having the same issues. When we rebuild, everything is done locally and in-house so that your engine rebuild is done specifically for your truck. Overall, we’re a complete diesel engine service centre solution. In the event that a rebuild isn’t recommended, we’re also equipped to replace.

If your find a coolant leak coming from your radiator, it's likely to be caused by a defective thermostat bypass. Pressure spikes in the cooling system can occur which eventually leads to radiator failure if not treated. We recommend replacing the thermostat assembly and radiator in these situations.
We've had customers come in reporting that their engine will start and run fine... but after the truck is driven until engine is hot, if you turn it off it will not start again unitl it is cold. This is typically caused by the high pressure diesel fuel injection pump failing and causing a "no start" condition. Once replaced, the situation typically resolves.
Our customers have reported that their truck with chirp/squeak on start up and then again for about 30 minutes of driving. This is typically due to a defective idler pulley and / or belt causing a chirp or squeak noise from the engine area on initial start up and then again as the engine warms up. The idler pulley and / or belt needs to be replaced. This typically resolves the problem.
We take pride in making sure every customer understands what work was done on their vehicle and (most importantly) why. Here are just a few of the customers we've been able to do that for.
Recently had my EcoDiesel EGR and cat delete done at JD Diagnostics & Diesel Repair in Abbotsford.
Had some issues after the fact and those were rectified quickly and professionally.
I would recommend their services to anyone looking for a no-nonsense qualified diesel shop.

Customer, 2018 Ram EcoDiesel
Never have I had such an easy time at a shop. Truck serviced, my ECM tuned, and now I have more power with a way more efficient engine. AND my friends can't believe either how cheap it was for everything to get completed or how quick. Amazed at how smooth this operation is. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Kris Selezinka
Customer, 2019 Ram 2500
An excellent first visit. I will definitely be going back and hopefully this will be the shop that will help me to get my diesel running well. It has been a difficult journey looking for some honest 'doctors' to slowly and reasonably get my truck where I want her. Fingers crossed.
